United Way of Lake County’s Stuff the Bus annual school supply drive provides students in Lake County, IL with backpacks full of new school supplies—preparing them for their academic studies, building their self-esteem, and setting them up for success. We are pleased to share the results of our sixth annual supply drive.
We are thrilled to share that we exceeded our Stuff the Bus 2024 goal!
We prepared 3,775 backpacks full of supplies that have been distributed to students throughout Lake County!
We also distributed 300 teacher kits!
Thank you so much to the 100+ companies and donors who supported this drive and the 130+ volunteers who donated their time to pack, sort, and stuff each backpack.
We are so proud that many more children will have the supplies they need to succeed during this new school year!
